Great White delivered the goods before a rabid crowd Friday night at the House Of Blues. An under-appreciated band, time has done nothing to dull their considerable chops. Earlier in the day, the guys stopped by on my show for a few laughs, play "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" live and chat about the special relationship with their Chicago fans. Great guys, great tunes, Great White!

Speaking of under-appreciated bands, lead singer/rhythm guitarist Doug Fieger of Detroit's The Knack passed away this weekend at the age of only 57 after a long battle with brain and lung cancer. Doug and the band effortlessly churned out numerous catchy-as-hell rock/pop masterpieces over the years. Here's hoping he and The Knack get their just due now.
