January is typically the coldest month of the year around these parts, but George Lynch of Dokken fame helped warm things up considerably this weekend with a searing set of fretboard pyrotechnics Saturday night. George's other band, Lynch Mob tore through a hit-laden set featuring both Lynch Mob and Dokken classics for the packed house.

Tough one for the Chicago Bears and we Bears fans. On the bright side, the team advanced further than most would have predicted this year, giving creedence to the idea that this team is almost there.
